Sofist: An International Journal of Philosophy is an international academic peer-reviewed journal, and published biannually in April and October both as printed and online. Sofist welcomes submissions of quality articles in philosophy, translations, and book reviews particularly those relating the most current debates, critiques, and discussions in contemporary philosophy and all other interdisciplinary studies relevant to philosophy.

AIMS

Sofist, which is published biannually aims at contributing to philosophy through original research papers, discussions, translations, and interviews. The journal is also open to the interdisciplinary studies that could be related to philosophy.

SCOPE

While original research articles have a privileged status, translations, book reviews, interviews, letters to the editor, and discussion papers in all areas of philosophy are evaluated for publication. Conference papers can be submitted to the journal if they are substantively revised and expanded. Submission languages are Turkish and English. But papers in other languages with a Turkish translation can be published depending on the editorial board’s decision.
